Uzair Essack founded Riyp in 2015 with a simple belief: that South Africa's world-class farmers deserved a direct, reliable route to global markets.

A decade later, Riyp exports premium fresh produce to 40 countries worldwide, operating three export brands and working with some of South Africa's most respected farming operations.

Uzair was named on the Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 list and recognised as Entrepreneur of the Year. He holds a BCom in Management Studies from the University of Cape Town and is based in Cape Town, South Africa.
